Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) organised a Hindu Rashtra-Jagruti Sabha in Rabgaon, Raigad district, to strengthen community awareness and collective responsibility for preserving cultural heritage and social harmony. The gathering focused on lawful, constructive participation in public life and emphasized the importance of informed civic engagement.
Addressing the assembly, Shri. Sunil Kadam underscored that unity is essential for safeguarding Hindu Dharma against ideological and social pressures. The appeal centered on peaceful, proactive measureseducation, dialogue, and institutional collaborationso that communities can resist misinformation and protect traditions without polarization.
Consistent with the broader dharmic ethos, the Sabha highlighted solidarity across Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism. Participants discussed shared values such as ahimsa, seva, and pluralism as the foundation for strengthening inter-community trust and building resilient, inclusive neighborhoods. This framing placed “unity in spiritual diversity” at the heart of long-term cultural stability.
Community members narrated relatable experiences of safeguarding customs in everyday lifeteaching children prayers and ethics at home and school, volunteering at temples and community centers, and conducting study circles on history and scriptures.
