Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam at the Tirumala Tirupati Temple will be observed over ten sacred days from 30 December to 8 January 2026. During this period, the Vaikunta Dwaram (Paramapada Vasal) is ceremonially opened, aligning with Vaikuntha Ekadashi and Vaikuntha Dwadashi, and inviting devotees into a unique experience of grace and devotion in the sanctum of Sri Venkateswara.
The observance carries profound spiritual resonance for pilgrims across dharmic traditions. Many describe stepping through the Vaikunta Dwaram as a deeply moving threshold moment—marked by collective chanting, heightened devotion, and a shared aspiration for liberation (moksha). The atmosphere underscores values of unity, humility, and seva that resonate with Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, and Sikh paths of inner discipline and compassion.
For crowd management and equitable access, TTD will implement an Electronic Dip System for issuing darshan tokens during the first three days of the observance. In practice, this system functions as a randomized allocation of limited darshan slots, designed to ensure fairness amid peak demand. Devotees are encouraged to follow official TTD notifications for exact participation steps, window timings, and verification requirements.
For the remaining seven days, Sarva Darshan will be facilitated through Vaikuntham Queue Complex–2. This arrangement helps streamline movement and enhances safety for the high volume of pilgrims. Devotees are advised to cooperate with on-ground staff, observe queue protocols, and plan generous time buffers given the extraordinary footfall during Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam.
Special Entry Darshan (SED) and SRIVANI donor darshan will remain cancelled for the entire ten-day period. Pilgrims who usually rely on these categories should adjust travel plans accordingly and opt for the systems announced for this specific observance window.
Practical preparation supports a meaningful pilgrimage experience. Keeping identity documents accessible, following the prescribed dress code, staying attentive to security advisories, and hydrating adequately can make long waits more manageable. Above all, referring to real-time updates via Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) channels ensures clarity on token issuance, queue guidance, and any operational changes.
Beyond logistics, the ten-day Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam is remembered for its shared devotional energy. The tradition emphasizes ethical living, collective harmony, and reverence—principles cherished across dharmic lineages. In honoring this moment together, pilgrims reaffirm a unifying spiritual ethos centered on devotion, service, and mutual respect.
